1. Adventurous Training Opportunities 2007: There are limited spaces available on forthcoming Adventurous Training Courses run by the CCAT at various locations throughout the UK. If you are interested in participating (either as an Adult or Cadet) then click HERE for further information and to download your application form.
2. Duke of Edinburgh Award Dates: There are limited spaces available on forthcoming Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions. If you wish to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme in 2007, then it is essential that you speak to the detachment staff regarding getting your name on the list.
3. Detachment Training Programmes: The new Detachment Training Programmes are available on the the Cadet Resources page. Check them now to see what the dress of the day is as well as what training you will be doing.
4. Weekend Camp Kit List: Any cadet who is uncertain as to what to pack for the weekend can click HERE for a full Weekend Camp Kit List.
5. Weekend Camp Sep 2007: The OC has declared that this is to be a more relaxed weekend, possibly encompassing a range day. A BBQ or disco will be held to offset the BBQ missed at Annual Camp. Names of cadets wishing to attend are to be with the Detachment Commander ASAP. Cost of the weekend is £6 payable by Monday 03 Sep 07 (Remember - No money - No attendance).
6. Summer Events 2007
With Annual Camp over we must now look forward to assisting with Linlithgow Scotch Hop on Wednesday evenings. LUCS open day and Cardboard Boat race is also on the cards together with assisting Kinneil Equestrian Day. Max attendance from all cadets is expected.
7. CONGRATULATIONS
The Detachment Commander would like to congratulate Sgt N Kennedy on her recent promotion to Cadet Company Sergeant Major. Well done on your continued hard work and to keeping the 25 Troop good name and reputation.
